The Murillo’s In-Home Family Session

The Murillo family’s in-home session was nothing short of magical! ✨ We were so honored to capture these sweet moments in their stunning new home as they kick off an exciting new chapter together. Their two little girls brought all the energy with endless laughs, dance parties, and the silliest jokes that kept everyone smiling from ear to ear! 💃🎶

With every giggle and twirl, you could feel the warmth and love radiating through the home – it was absolutely heart-melting! Sessions like this remind us of the beauty in everyday moments and the joy of simply being together. We’re so grateful to capture these special memories for the Murillo family and celebrate this new season in their beautiful new space. We love this sweet family so much! 🥰

What is something that makes your family special?

“Our little family is everything and nothing like we imagined. Our sweet girls have filled our hearts in ways we didn’t know possible — through family dance parties and belly laughs and couch snuggles. And to be honest, it’s those small moments that feel the most memorable, joyful, and special.”

What has been your favorite family vacation so far?

“When Madi was teeny, we spent a long weekend at the beach in South Haven, Michigan. We made core memories there of Mila running across the sand with a smile on her face and the wind in her hair, taking her out for the biggest ice cream cone she’s ever had, and exploring the cutest local shops. It was relaxing with no agenda other than to be together. I can’t wait for our next relaxing beach getaway together!”

If you could choose any way to spend a family night at home, what would you do?

“Family nights at home are our specialty. And easily, the best ones are those that start with a little family walk in the fresh air and end with pjs and snacks for a family movie night. We’ve been introducing the girls to some of our childhood favorites, and it’s always so fun to see their reactions and hear them asking to watch them again and again.”

What is the best memory you have of your family doing something together?

“This is a tough one to narrow down! But few memories will beat those made in the holiday season — pulling out the Christmas decorations, driving through neighborhoods to see holiday lights, dancing around the living room to some of their favorite Christmas tunes… this will be our first holiday season in our new house, and I can’t wait to start making new magical memories with the girls here!”

What is your favorite family tradition?

“My husband is a BIG fan of Halloween, and it’s been so fun to see this magic and excitement get passed down to the girls each year! They absolutely love planning their outfits, helping me prepare the candy for trick or treaters, and everything else fun that comes with spooky season.”

Would you rather time-travel into the past to meet your ancestors or into the future to meet your descendants?

“As much as I love the idea of traveling to the past to learn more about who we are and where we come from, the idea of meeting our descendants is incredibly intriguing and, as a mom, almost brings me to tears just thinking about it!”

What’s next for your family?!

“Truthfully… settling. And thoroughly enjoying our day-to-day lives, learning and growing together. Through growing our family and building a home, life has felt in a constant state of change these last few years — and I’m just so very excited to simply slow down together.”

What was your favorite part of your session with B&B?

“The absolute EASE and joy you brought to our time together!!! It’s incredible how you two handle the dynamic of our busy girls and make it look easy getting them to pose and smile. Thank you for such a lovely experience doing our first shoot in our new home! xo”
