From the very first hug, it felt like reconnecting with old friends!! Carlee and Chris brought so much joy and love to their session…full of laughter, sweet giggles, cozy snuggles and allllll the best energy!!!😍

We kicked things off at Rolling Hills Country Club, where the setting made the perfect backdrop for this sweet season of life. Then we made our way to Friedman Park and wandered through the prettiest fields, soaking in all those romantic, peaceful vibes. It was the perfect combination of locations for a couple who feels like magic!!🫶🏼💕

How did you meet?!

“We actually met back in high school. We both even attended the same college. However, we didn’t date each other until the summer after we ended college!”

What was your first date?!

“Our first date was at The Landing, a restaurant in Newburgh on the waterfront!”

How did he propose?!

“October 19, 2024 — Chris told me months in advance that he was going to take me to Farmer and Frenchman Winery on Saturday October 19th to celebrate our 3 year anniversary. After we had wine and appetizers that day, he took me down to the vineyard and asked me to marry him there. Chris was so nervous I thought he was going to pass out. In the moment, I was also so excited that we both still don’t quite remember everything he said while he was down on one knee. We took some pictures there before leaving to go home. Chris then later surprised me that day instead of going home, he drove me to where he planned out a party with the help of our close friends and family who were all there to celebrate our engagement! It was a perfect day!!!”

What’s your favorite way to spend the weekend?

“We love just spending time together during our weekends off. Whether that means we are just hanging out with friends, watching our favorite tv shows/movies, spending time with our dog Milo, or just being outside”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“His personality. Chris is so kind and caring towards me. His sense of humor. Chris can always make me laugh. And lastly, I love how supportive Chris is of me and everything that I do.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“Her sense of humor. Her smile that lights up a room. Her endless love and support for me in life.”

What’s your favorite place you’ve ever been?

“Our favorite place we’ve traveled to has to be Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN.”

Do you have any pets together?!

“We have a mini Aussiedoodle named Milo!🐾”

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

“Our favorite date was at the drive in movies in Rockport, IN.”

What was your favorite part of the engagement session?!

“Our favorite part of the engagement session was having so much fun with Bret & Brandie! We loved working with them, and they made the session effortless!”

“Graceful Lady Boutique & SHEIN.”

“Old Navy, Macy’s, & Amazon.”

Advice for other couples who are prepping for their engagement session?

“Bring a small portable fan for summer sessions! Bret and Brandie let us use theirs and it was a lifesaver in the heat!”
