Okay, but THE FUN we had with these two?! Lindsey and Daniel’s engagement session was an absolute blast from start to finish…we spent the evening laughing nonstop, soaking up the sunshine and capturing all the sweet magic that is so them. 😍
From the very beginning, it felt like we were just hanging out with old friends. The laughs came easy, the joy was contagious and we loved getting to know Lindsey and Daniel in between every photo and giggle. Honestly, that was our favorite part…just how fun the whole evening felt. We’re firm believers that your photos should feel as joyful and magical as they look… and this session? It checked every box!!! OBSESSED!!
Friedman Park was the perfect backdrop…full of that dreamy glowing light, quiet little paths and open fields…and we love that it’s not just where these two did their engagement photos… it’s also where they’ll say I do! Come next year, we’ll be right back here celebrating their wedding day, and we couldn’t be more excited! Let the wedding countdown begin!!! 🥂

“A true modern day love story… we met on Hinge!”
“Our first date was at the Rooftop for dinner and drinks then he took me to an UE basketball game in his work’s suite!”

“Daniel POV: She was catching on to every plan I had. Luckily one of her best friends took her ring shopping for me so I knew exactly what ring to get her. Next, I knew she wanted her mother and sister there so I had to coordinate with them hoping Lindsey wouldn’t catch on. Luckily, my brother and sister in law, Gwen, had never met Lindsey’s sister Lauren and her husband so we went to a late lunch at Hartigan’s on Main Street. Gwen had the ring in her purse so I had to get it from her but Lindsey wouldn’t leave the table at all until Lauren and Gwen basically dragged her to the bathroom!! Ha! So once we left the restaurant we got to the corner of Main and Second Street then got down on one knee while she wasn’t looking! She was completely surprised! It was perfect! The last thing we did was go to the Rooftop (where our first date was) where I had invited family and friends to join us for a little engagement party. Lindsey POV: I wanted Lauren and Max (my sister and brother in law) to meet Will and Gwen (Daniel’s brother and sister in law) and we were finally able to make it happen because Will and Gwen were in town celebrating Christmas late. I was so excited for them to meet I wasn’t thinking about the fact he could propose. The night before I got this feeling he was going to propose while we were just hanging out talking with Gwen but didn’t say anything to him. I said something to my mom but she said he hadn’t talked to her yet so I was really not thinking anything of it. I was already getting my nails done that morning so of course I was texting my sister what color I should get and she said “why does it matter?” so again I wasn’t thinking anything of it happening that day. I ran home from my nail appt and got ready in 10 minutes to meet Lauren, Max, Will and Gwen for lunch at Hartigan’s. We had lunch and we eventually made a girls trip to the restroom where I was spilling to my sister that I had thought it was happening and she acted like I was being silly for thinking that so I stopped dreaming of it happening. When we got back to the table, we had made plans to go to the next spot to continue hanging out! We were exiting all heading to our cars to go to the next spot. I was about to cross the street on Main Street when I noticed no one was following me so I turned around and there Daniel was on one knee. I was SOOO surprised. I could not believe it was actually happening and I got to say “Yes” to the love of my life! We were surrounded by Lauren, Max, Will and Gwen cheering then I hear my parents and his parents cheering which made it all the more special. After many hugs and kisses, we had a moment to ourselves and headed to the Rooftop where I found a party with all of our friends and family that we love so much! It was such a special night we will remember forever.”
“We love spending time with our family and friends.”
“There are many things I love about Daniel. 1) His values and goals we share for the future. I cannot wait to continue to grow them right next to each other for life! 2) His caring heart and support he provides. If you need a helping hand, Daniel will be there. If you just need to vent, he will be there to listen as long as you need. He will be by your side for your toughest day and also your happiest! 3) I love the way he loves me so unconditionally. He lets me be my true self. He also loves others so unconditionally. He has a heart of gold that makes him so special to me and to so many people.”
“There are a million things I love about Lindsey but here are 3… 1) She is the kindest person I know. She is always thinking about the people around her no matter the situation. 2) Her drive. She pushes herself to be the best version of herself in every part of her life. Not only does she do that for herself, but she does it for me as well 3) Her smile. She is the most beautiful woman in the world, inside and out. Every time I see her smile I fall a little deeper in love, knowing that she chose me to spend the rest of her life with.”
“We have had many great experiences together but we loved our Destin trip together.”
