An Elegant Corner House B&B Wedding

Hi, sweet friends!! Today we are frolicking around the house trying to knock out some pretty hefty to-do lists before we head off to Tuesdays Together!! Eeeeek, Tuesdays Together is legitimately one of favorite monthly gatherings! There is just something so special to us about being with like-minded individuals that dream as big as we do!! But before we head out on our way, I have been dying to share this blog with all of you! Hailey and Morgan’s wedding was literally picture-perfect. We are obsessed with everything about their wedding and looking back on that day, I can’t help but to break out in smiles from ear to ear. It was just one of those days where everything fell into place perfectly. We had beautiful weather to work with and everyone was so cheery and bubbly.

Our engagement session with Hailey and Morgan was done at the Corner House Bed and Breakfast in Rockport, Indiana. Their engagement session has definitely been one of our “fan favorites” and is easily one of our highest traffic blog posts. I’m not surprised, though! Those are two of the most genuine and adorable people you will literally ever meet. We knew when we finished up with their engagement session that the wedding day was going to be magical in the best way possible!!

On the morning of their wedding day, we arrived to a house full of bridesmaids and giggles. When I say full of giggles, I mean FULL — we’re talking nine bridesmaids, you guys! It was such a wonderful way to start the day off. They all zipped through hair and makeup before they got into their dresses. As these gals were getting dressed, I was dying and obsessing over the dresses! Literally DYING!!! They went with the mix-matched look which is my personal favorite. The difference in dresses adds such texture, dimension and character. I am such a big fan of this trend and these girls did an impeccable job selecting their dresses!! Then once you paired those dresses with Hailey’s classic gown — WOW! Everything was so simple and classic-looking! The bouquet was to-die-for! I am LOVING all of the simple greenery that is on trend right now. Once we had Hailey dressed and ready to go, we headed out for the first look!!

We set Morgan up for the first look in front of the bed and breakfast. The weather around us was setting the tone perfectly for this moment. There was a light breeze and beautiful sunshine pouring in in every direction! These are the moments that I just want to freeze and frame forever. Well, I mean I guess we kinda do that for a living but anyway LOL. Hailey was so excited to see her groom. She swept her big beautiful dress behind her and erupted into giggles when she saw Morgan for the first time. The two of them were completely beside themselves at the sight of seeing each other in that moment. First looks are so magical and romantic because in that moment, you are alone with your best friend. It’s like it is their own little world, just the two of them… I love love LOVE getting to witness that and the joy they share in those moments!! It’s like watching our own romantic movie, ya know?! (without the popcorn and the reclining seats, HA)

Next up, we did the bridal portraits with Hailey and Morgan. They joked that they already had the Disney giggle memorized and ready to go. If you’ve ever worked with us before, you know the exact giggle that they are referring to!! These portraits show such a genuine part of their love. They are truly a match made in heaven. It had never been more obvious to me as when I watched them seamlessly finish each others sentences throughout the day. How stinking perfect?! Add in a super fun bridal party to the mix and we were in for quite the day! It was such a fun-filled day for everyone involved! 

Next, it was off to get these two hitched! We were sooo excited to head off to the ceremony. They went with a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, Indiana. St. Bernard is a beautiful church full of gorgeous character. Light was pouring in throughout the entire ceremony as Hailey and Morgan were surrounded by their closest family and friends. During their ceremony, I watched something that I had never witnessed before. Their priest has a tradition that he follows for all of his brides and grooms. He brought the couple into the middle of the aisle. In that aisle, their parents, family and friends gathered around them and prayed a special blessing over them. I saw this moment unfolding and was luckily quick on my feet. I literally sprinted up the stairs to capture this birdseye moment. These are quite possibly some of my favorite pictures from the entire day. It was such a cool, unique moment and I was so happy that we were there to witness it!! Before we knew it, they were married. They floated down the aisle and exited the church to applause and bubbles galore.

We headed off to the Corner House to end the night with a lot of dancing and celebrating with family and friends. My favorite part of the entire day had to be, without a doubt, when they had their sweet pup, Bear, join the reception to celebrate with them. We loved seeing their fur baby hang out and celebrate with them!! We even captured some cute pics of them snuggling together. Bear thought the whole party was for him, but I mean, who can blame him?! Hailey and Morgan were beaming with smiles all night as they watched Bear make his way from guest to guest. The cutest little touch to their reception was a unique party favor. Oh, I’m sorry, a “pawty” favor. They legitimately had dog treats for all of the guests to take home to their dogs!!!Those small touches make for the perfect day. They made their entire day so personal and tied in so many small and personal touches. Those are the kinds of things that bring joy to my soul!! Congratulations, you two, on marrying your best friend and soulmate. We hope you will remember these memories forever.
