Tell us a bit about your wedding!!

“A winter white wedding ar a cozy barn in the vineyard at F&F! The place has always held a bit of nostalgia as it’s where we went on our first date so as we planned we knew it was where we wanted to get married. What we didn’t plan for was the snowy vineyard and dreamy winter ambiance it created. Immediate family and close friends by our sides.”

What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

“Our vows.”

What’s next? What are you two planning on tackling next in life?

“Baby Locher joins the crew in March and we couldn’t be more excited to add another little man to this already established boy gang!”

For the bride: What are three things you love about your groom?

“Only 3?! I love every single part of this man: his heart, his mind, his touch, his soul. I adore his goofy side and sideways smile when he’s playful, his strong steady embrace after a long day, his goodnights and good mornings. What I may love most about us is how lost we get in each other regardless of where we are and who we are with.”

For the groom: What are three things you love about your bride?

“I’m sure the photographs will show this, but her unique ability to light up every person’s eyes the moment she starts talking to them. Me included. Our dog coconut too, believe it or not. Gracefulness. Not only does she float when she walks, but the patience and grace that she conducts herself as a mother and as my wife with is nothing less than admirable. Patience. I mentioned it as a supporting role for grace, but it deserves its own category. She has this overwhelming want to be good and do good things. Humans tend to not be perfect, and her want to be good and do good things helps her handle the motions with this immeasurable patience. *BONUS* she’s drop dead GORGEOUS. Did you see her in her dress?! Lord have mercy, I cash in all my heavenly favors and got me the prettiest bride there ever was.”

Bride, who helped you the most in making your dream wedding come true?

“My husband. Even before we were engaged we knew we wanted something small, something intimate, something that was just us. We planned together, which made celebrating our day that much more special.”

Advice for other couples who are planning their own wedding right now?

“A wedding is about you and your soon-to-be spouse. It can seem overwhelming but no one else matters. Spend time together planning what means the most to you as a couple and go with that!”

Did anything hilarious/unexpected happen?!

“The icing in our cake wound up being blue which gave everyone a good giggle, almost as if we had planned a surprise gender reveal! 😉”

What is something unique you incorporated into your wedding?

“We were married by family! It was so special being able to be married by some of the people who have set such a good example of what a lasting, holy marriage is.”

First dance song?

“Beneath Oak Trees – Dylan Gosset”

Reception dinner: buffet or served?

“Served”

What dessert did you serve at your reception?

“Wedding cake!”
