“Max and I met at Indiana University! We first met at a party and he stood out to me not only because he was incredibly handsome, but because he’s a twin… I thought I was seeing double! The party was called “swamp” and it was quite literally a mud slide party on a farm… classy. We took a photo together and went our separate ways. Until the following semester, we both were taking business law. I was in the 8am class while Max was in the 10am. It was a massive lecture hall so I would get away with sleeping in and attending the 10am class. On the first day of class I was sitting next to a girl friend when I saw Max walk in. I asked her to look at the class roster to confirm it was Max. She told me that Max was the one registered for the class, so I shouted out his name and waved him down. From that point on, I continued to sleep in and go to the later class just to sit with Max! He definitely made law class less boring!”
“Our favorite date was when Max was studying abroad in Barcelona and I traveled over my spring break to visit him. He took me out to Da Greco, a classic Italian restaurant, where we spent the night eating, laughing, and drinking wine.”
“We started dating in 2016! Max asked me to be his girlfriend after dinner at Malibu Grill on Valentine’s Day. We were standing in Bloomington’s downtown square under the string lights!”

“Max wanted both of our families to be involved on our special day, so he coordinated a weekend with my parents to come visit. We spent the whole day with my family exploring the Wells St. Art Fair in Chicago and hanging out. After the fair, we parted ways with my family so we could all go back and get ready for dinner later that night. Max mentioned that he thought it would be a fun idea for the two of us to grab a cocktail at the J Parker rooftop before we met my family at dinner. As we arrived, I noticed that we had the whole rooftop to ourselves! Little did I know that he had worked with the manager of the bar to reserve the whole place for us. We sat down to get a cocktail (we had the best seat in the house over looking the city skyline and Lake Michigan!) and were having conversation when all of the sudden Max reached for my hand and proposed! The staff brought out champaign and flowers to celebrate! After that we went to meet my family for a very special dinner which was followed by going out to Untitled, a swanky whiskey lounge, where we were surprised by Max’s family. Both families celebrated together throughout the night! We ended the day at the Waldorf Astoria, a total dream come true!”
“We love to go out to eat and try a new restaurants in town. We order tons of food (sometimes too much) and love ending the night at a fun bar! We have the best conversations and laughs when we are enjoying good food and drinks together.”
“Max is one of the smartest people I know. I love his intelligence and thirst for knowledge!
Max is literally the funniest guy I know!! He knows what it takes me make me crack a smile even when I’m down.
Lastly, I love Max because he supports me whole-heartedly & believes in me. He inspires me and makes me want to follow dreams, and reach the goals I’ve always wanted to pursue.”
“I love Joan because she makes me laugh, we have similar senses of humor so I can always be myself around her.
I love Joan because she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside – Joan is as kind and caring as she is gorgeous, I can always count on her to take care of me when I am feeling under the weather and be my hot date when we hit the town.
I love Joan because she was raised with the same strong family values as me, and she has all of the loving qualities that will make a great mother one day.”
“We loved how comfortable and confident B&B made us feel!!”
“Yes! Montana Daniels from Shannon Aleksandr’s Salon did my hair!”
